Happy "National Ghost Hunting Day"!


Within the last few minutes, I learned that it's #nationalghosthuntingday. I must confess, that's somewhat embarassing since the paranormal is a major aspect of this blog.


Although belief in the paranormal has existed for thousands of years, the concept of "ghost hunting" became popularized by the late 1990s and early 2000s.


More specifically, television programs such as "Ghost Hunters" and "Ghost Hunters: International" first aired in the 2000s, and this inspired people to conduct amateur ghost hunts.


Although it's advised to only conduct a paranormal investigation if you possess significant knowledge of the area, this hasn't stopped people from jumping into this type of adventure over the last twenty years.
