Today's Nintendo Direct was another fun experience, along with the announcement of some highly anticipated games for the Nintendo Switch. For the first time since 2019, fans were provided another look at the sequel to 2017's "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".
Although we didn't see "Twilight Princess" or a return to the land of Termina, this sequel goes beyond dystopian Hyrule. I was expecting more remasters, but I'm glad to know there will be more mainstream "Zelda" games coming in the near future. With that in mind, we didn't get a significant amount of information regarding the game. So, it's possible we could still return to Termina- even if it's a dream sequence for our hero, Link.
According to Nintendo, the "Breath of the Wild" sequel could come as early as 2022. Fans have anticipated this sequel for quite some time, and now players have the ability to explore the sky kingdom above Hyrule's mainland.
