The most recent #NintendoDirect was back in April, and then #Pokemon had their exclusive showcase about a week later.

Since 2021 is the 35th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda franchise, players have been promised a HD remake of 2011's "Skyward Sword". With that in mind, there were also Zelda themed joy cons for the Switch console, as well as pro controllers.

Although "Twilight Princess" received a HD remake in 2016 for the Wii-U console, it's quite possible we will see another version of this game because of the 35th anniversary of the franchise.

At the time of writing this article, the next Nintendo Direct comes in about 38 hours. Simply, I can't wait for this presentation. When I bought a Nintendo Switch in 2020, I fell in love with Nintendo all over again. That's not going to change.

I was a big fan of "Zelda" as a kid, and returned to the series as an adult. I must confess, it's really a work of art. It's amazing, and the lore is charming yet horrifying. I enjoyed "Twilight Princess" on the Nintendo GameCube in 2006, and would love to play this game on Nintendo Switch.

With respect to the Legend of Zelda franchise, 2006's "Twilight Princess" has become a cult favourite. Moreover, #themodernistson team member proudtreecko cites this as his favourite video game of all time. In the spirit of gaming and love for the franchise, check out these clips:
