As I've mentioned in previous blog posts, I'm working on a #horror collection. This book will include poetry, micro fiction, stories, and possibly drawings. The title of the project is "The Hauntings of Honeywell Falls", and will be released sometime this year. For right now, here's another preview of my next book:

"Forgotten Spirits and Living Legacy"

The man they knew, fought to preserve his legacy against the hands of time

On that fateful day, higher power was no longer on his side while his body became one with the ages and reduced to nothingness

His footsteps hammered against the once-existing cobblestone- all which led to the crafting of new generations

So, how could they forget?

His bloodline continues to inhabit the veins of Honeywell Falls, a town that has almost forgotten his name

A famous duel ended his life, in spite of a town refusing to acknowledge his identity

"How could they forget"? I continue to ask myself, when the town was named for him and all of his achievements

My grandfather tells of a forgotten spirit that dwells upon the cape shores, known as Fort Moriarity

Don't they know that we only exist because of our ancestors? This town has gone quiet with the emergence of new machines

Until we acknowledge his presence, this soul will not rest

A lamb dying in the womb could not compare to this inexcusable negligence

Honeywell Falls must acknowledge its dark atmosphere, as the history has written itself with blood-stained hands of its founders

But... don't people just want to forget? The inability to remember has not proven to be the stigma

In some cases, people choose to forget as a means of moving on and learning from their own failures
