Message from the Owner:
2019's Pokémon Sword and Shield is among the most popular video games streamers play for their audience. Although streamers play video games on all platforms (even PC), Nintendo has never lost its place in the shuffle. #Twitch has allowed streamers to showcase their skills since 2011.
Our next story starts much the same as the last one did, with a twitch raid.
This story however has a twist as it is not directly related to the streamer who was raided but her moderator who was in the chat at the time. I made a racy joke just for the hell of it and to my surprise both streamer and moderator laughed. That's when I found out that their moderator was also a streamer, and we seemed to hit it off right away in chat.
As a few days passed, as promised, I found myself in Ebbs stream chatting as if I'd known everyone all my life. Over the next few weeks we began bonding, though admittedly I hadn't even noticed it happening, I simply just had not thought about it. That all started to change when I was welcomed to be part of what I can only describe as the jackbox game from hell.

The anxiety of knowing boundaries and what was or wasn't okay to say quickly melted away, and before the night ended I really felt like I'd already become closer to the inner circle which is just a statement on the type of person Ebbs is. She (Ebbs) is incredibly kind , giving, caring, and overall a fantastic person and friend. This all compounded by the fact that she entrusted me with moderating her channel , a task that may seem like no big deal to many or maybe even herself, but to me it symbolizes a level of trust that only great friends can have.
Moderating helps me fulfil something that I feel lots of struggle with: feeling useful.
I can only hope that someday I can repay her for everything she has done and continues to do for me. I truly feel as though I have not earned it.
The deep truth of the matter is that Ebbs, I'm sure, not surprisingly another person who was instrumental in not only starting my twitch journey but most importantly to me- pulling me out of a depressed rutt. I'm not even sure she realizes just how much and I can only hope writing this will cause more people to flock to her channel and give her the props she has more than earned.
In closing, I have to say the Melbourne native is more than deserving of a spotlight, and all the love and support she receives from her followers. Although my words can only do so much, I highly recommend you check her out if you have not already. I can promise you will not regret it.
I'll see you all there!
